PESU Students Shine at IRTM 2025: International Conference at NIT Gandhinagar

From November 19–21, 2025, the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Gandhinagar hosted the prestigious IRTM 2025: International Conference on Interdisciplinary Research in Technology & Management, a SCOPUS-indexed event that brought together researchers and academicians from across the globe.

Conference Overview
The three-day event featured technical sessions, paper presentations, and discussions on emerging trends in technology and management. With an audience of nearly 200 participants, the conference provided a platform for knowledge exchange and collaborative learning.

PESU Student Participation
Students from PES University’s BBA-HEM program actively participated by presenting research papers under the General Management category. Their work showcased innovative thinking and rigorous analysis:

• Paper 1: Sustainability Concerns & Practices in the Chocolate Lifecycle: Integrating Consumer Perception
  (Authors: Deeksha P & Disha Tiwary – 3rd Year)
• Paper 2: An Analysis of Operational & Consumer Factors in the Evolution of Medium-Sized Food Outlets
  (Authors: Sohan I, Sharaangi Gowda & Smruti Subramanian – 2nd Year)

These papers were based on primary data, reflecting strong research methodology and practical relevance.

Key Learnings for Students
Participation in IRTM 2025 offered PESU students invaluable academic exposure:

• Crafting focused research questions and applying statistical tools like ANOVA.
• Understanding null and alternative hypotheses, significance levels, and study limitations.
• Developing skills in research writing and identifying future research opportunities.
