MYSTARA 2025: A 24-Hour Innovation Marathon at PES University

On October 4–5, 2025, PES University’s INIT Club hosted MYSTARA 2025, an intensive 24-hour hackathon at the MRD Auditorium. The event brought together 100+ participants across 22 teams, challenging them to design, develop, and present technology-driven solutions under real-world constraints.

Event Highlights

  • Four Progressive Rounds:
    • Design Sprint – UI/UX conceptualization and wireframing.
    • Prototype Development & Mentor Evaluation – Building front-end and refining designs.
    • Mystery Feature Integration – Surprise tasks like dark mode toggle or creative error handling.
    • Innovation Booster – Final product optimization and presentation prep.
  • Mentorship & Guidance: Faculty and industry experts provided hands-on feedback throughout the event.
  • Fun Breaks: Midnight snacks and interactive games kept the energy high during the overnight coding marathon.


Judging & Recognition
Participants presented their projects to an esteemed panel of judges, showcasing problem-solving, technical architecture, and innovation.

  • First Place – Gradient Ascent (AI & ML + CS students)
  • Second Place – VisionX (CS, ECE, and AI & ML students)
  • Third Place – ResolveX (BCA and CS students)
